About Me

I am an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer living in Denver, Colorado. I am currently enrolled in the IDOL Academy, further developing my Instructional Design skills.

CAREER

For the last seven and a half years I have worked in public schools, teaching and developing Language Arts curriculum for K-12 students. I have a passion for developing literacy skills, fostering a love of reading and writing, and designing high-quality learning materials that are both engaging and effective. I enjoy working with learners from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences.

EDUCATION

I earned my bachelor's degree in English and Middle Grades Education from Texas A&M University in 2013. In May 2021, I earned my Master's in Curriculum Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. I am currently enrolled in the IDOL (Instructional Design & Online Learning) Academy in order to continue growing my curriculum development skills and learn more about eLearning development and the field of Instructional Design.
